No one was hurt in a fire that destroyed a vehicle over the weekend.

According to the Saline County Sheriff’s Office, a fire destroyed a 2007 Toyota Prius at 5:40 in the morning on Saturday.

Robert Martin of Salina was driving the car. According to a witness, the lights of the vehicle began to flicker. Soon after the car began to smoke, and then became engulfed in flames.

The Prius was a total loss, but Martin was able to escape without injury.
