Mike Huckabee To Speak In Salina

A national voice familiar to Newsradio 1150 KSAL listeners will make an appearance in Salina. Mike Huckabee, who can be heard on “The Huckabee Report” every weekday morning at 7:30 on the radio, will be the guest speaker at the Salina Area Chamber of Commerce annual meeting and banquet.

The event will be Thursday February 6th. The banquet will be held in the Arena of the Salina Bicentennial Center beginning at 6:30pm. A membership networking reception will be held from 5-6pm in Heritage Hall of the Bicentennial Center.

Tickets for Chamber members are $50 per person for the banquet. Tickets for non-members are $75 per person for the banquet Reservations can be made by Chamber members now through December by calling the Chamber office ticket hotline at 1-785-827-9310, ext. 123, stopping by the Chamber office, 120 W. Ash, or email Sandy at [email protected]. Tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning January 2. Tickets will be reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The chamber has a history of bringing big name speakers for the event. Last year NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Terry Bradshaw spoke at the event. Previous speakers have included Sarah Palin, Former President George Bush, Former British Prime Minister John Major, Bob Costas, and Cal Ripken Jr., among others.
