A Salina man was arrested yesterday for assaulting a security guard at Dillard’s in Central Mall.

Shay Palmer, 22, was reported acting suspiciously in the store, and followed a female employee into the women’s restroom.

A security guard saw him, and stopped him and Palmer allegedly started to put up a fight.

Police were called to the scene where the arrested Palmer, charging him with battery and breach of privacy.
