Salina Police are investigating a forgery case after someone created and forged checks with the IHOP Restaurant logo and bank account information.
Captain Chris Trockeck tells KSAL News that thieves used a printer to create and forge 10 checks, made up to look like business checks from the IHOP in Salina located at 2273 S. 9th.
Owner, Mohanad Khmous told officers that on July 10th the checks were cashed in several states including Florida and California for a total amount of $16,000.
