MANHATTAN, Kan. – K-State Athletics will be heading to a town near you as it kicks off the 2019 Catbacker Tour of the state of Kansas Monday in Dodge City.
The department will make a total of 19 stops and travel more than 8,000 miles between May 20 and June 10 as representatives from department make visits to K-State fans across the state.
The tour, which will focus on providing affordable family fun for all ages, begins with consecutive stops in Dodge City, Garden City, Liberal, Scott City, Colby and Hays over five days beginning Monday before wrapping up June with an event in Hutchison.
This summer’s tour will again focus on a “carnival” and “gameday” experience which will include inflatables, tailgate games, a “dress like a Cat” booth and other entertainment options for Wildcats of all ages. In addition, kids in attendance at each stop will receive a drawstring bag full of K-State goodies.
Attendees will have early access to purchase single game tickets for the 2019 football season before the public on-sale June 10, including $20 tickets to the August 31 home opener. Fans can also purchase season tickets for football, volleyball and soccer as well as the new Ultimate Powercat Pass that includes 75 vouchers that can be redeemed for tickets to any home regular-season baseball, soccer, volleyball or women’s basketball game during the 2019-20 season (while available).
