Garden City police are confirming that a student brought a gun to the Garden City High School campus.

Police say that the 17-year-old student had an unloaded gun in their car on campus yesterday, but no ammunition was found during a search of the vehicle.

Officials say that the school and its students were never in danger, and disciplinary actions against the teen have not been revealed.
