The final candidate debate is held in the race for Kansas governor.

Incumbent Laura Kelly and Republican challenger Derek Schmidt met in Johnson County yesterday to discuss several issues.

Schmidt criticized Kelly for efforts to link him with former Kansas Governor Sam Brownback.

Kelly highlighted efforts to fully fund schools and reform the foster care system. Kelly and Schmidt will face off in the November general election.
