According to the California Lottery, the jackpot climbed beyond its earlier estimate of $1.9 Billion to $2.04 Billion at the time of the drawing, making it the world’s largest lottery prize.
One lucky ticket sold at Joe’s Service Center in Altadena, California, matched all 6 numbers
Lottery officials delayed Monday night’s drawing because of security issues. The drawing was held Tuesday morning. Winning numbers are 10-33-41-47-56-Power-10.
Powerball’s previous world record for largest jackpot was set in 2016. The record $1.586 billion jackpot was shared by winners in California, Florida and Tennessee.
