Barbara Ann Besher, born Barbara Ann Williams on July 30, 1948 in Kanorado, KS, was the daughter of the late John and Violet (Hill) Williams. She departed this life on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at the age of 74.

She is survived by her husband of 50+ years, Roger Besher of Salina, KS, son Jeff Besher (wife Laura and sons Kyler and Kayden) of Salina, KS, daughter Brandi Besher of Orlando, FL, brother Dennis Williams (wife Amanda) of Russell, KS, sister Nancy Hurlbut (son Troy, and daughters Shelley and Angela) of Sylvan Grove, KS, and brother Don Williams (wife Karen) of Salina, KS; as well as cousins and some extended family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, newborn son Rodney Besher, and brother-in-law Gary Hurlbut.

Her heart of this world may have failed but her spirit was strong:
But we remember now in love,
Her life from start to end,
And we’re just glad we knew her,
As Husband, Mother, and Friend.

Memorial services will be held at Grace Baptist Church (400 E Crawford St, Salina, KS 67401) at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, followed by a luncheon at an off-site location.
