Authorities are investigating after a grenade was found at Derby High School.

Officials say that a student reported seeing an image on social media of another student having a grenade at school yesterday afternoon.

The school was evacuated, and the Wichita bomb squad determined that the device was not live and there was no threat to students.

Students were later allowed to reenter the school to gather their belongings.
