Richard F. “Dick” Ritten, 83, of Salina, Kan., passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023. He was born on May 26, 1939, in Wadena, Minn., to Louis and Anna (Roers) Ritten.

Dick was U.S. Army veteran and owned Midwest Business Machines of Salina from 1974 to 2000.

Survivors include his son, David Ritten (Jodi); daughter, Renee Ritten (Kirk Swenson); grandchildren, Donald Bishop (Tiffani), Steven Bishop (Tiffany), Joshua Ritten (Jessi), Melissa Sherman (Dustin), and Ashley Cretel (Joe); five great-grandchildren; siblings, Eileen Engh, Louanne Stephenson, Mary Lou Riley-Bagwell, Don Ritten (Monica), and Butch Ritten (Marie); and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carole (Post) Ritten; and siblings, Jerry Ritten and Beatrice Brasel.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, February 17, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina, with a vigil service at 6:30. The Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, February 18, at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Salina, with burial to follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Salina.
