Henry “Lee” Hoff, 88, of Salina, Kansas, passed away on March 21, 2023.

Lee was born on the farm in Ellis County, Kansas on May 10, 1934 to parents Henry A. Hoff and Margaret E. (Munk) Hoff.

Lee moved to Salina in 1953.  He was drafted into the US Army in 1955 and served until 1958.  He worked at Wyatt’s Mfg. until 1962.  Lee and his father, Henry A., started Hoff’s Machine & Welding, Inc. in 1962.  Lee retired in 2019.

Lee married Carol Schuckman on May 6, 1961 in Salina, Kansas.  They were married for 61 years and have three children and three grandchildren.

Lee is preceded in death by his parents and brother-in law, Robert Waldman.

Lee is survived by his wife, Carol; daughter, Michelle Hoff; sons, Michael Hoff (Jamie) and Mark Hoff (Deirdre); and grandchildren, Zane Hoff, Samantha Hoff, and Sadie Hoff, all of Salina.  He is also survived by his brother, Don Hoff (Pauline) of Dallas, Texas; sisters, Maida Waldman of Dodge City, Kansas and Odie Wilson (Don) of Plano, Texas; sisters-in-law, Patricia Thibault of Hays, Kansas and Shirley Andrla (Ed) of Salina, Kansas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A public visitation will be held Monday, March 27, 2023, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Ryan Mortuary in Salina.  The funeral mass and burial will be private.

Memorials can be made to the Salina Animal Shelter or Sacred Heart Cathedral.
