Corina Jane (McCullough) Winslow, 80 years old, of Salina, Kan., passed peacefully on April 5, 2023. She was born on January 19, 1943, in Lindsborg, Kan., to Robert and Nora McCullough. She graduated from Salina High School in 1961 and attended Kansas Wesleyan University. Corina met the love of her life, Gary, and they married on August 22, 1970. They had one child, Catherine Ellen.
Corina was the Postmaster at the New Cambria Post Office for 31 years. Early in her career she worked at the Salina Public Library and Sears. Corina loved to visit with people, knit, read romance novels and attend concerts. Her hobbies also included collecting stamps, antique crocks and cookbooks. She was a longtime member of the Rebekah Lodge and United Postmasters and Managers of America. Corina enjoyed being an active member of the Prayer Shawl Ministry and making hand knitted shawls to bless the community. She was a member of Sacred Heart Cathedral.
Corina was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Winslow; son-in-law, Arthur Lott; sister-in-law, Linda McCullough; and her parents. Survivors include her daughter, Cathy Lott; granddaughters, Chelsea Lott and Bariah Lott; grandson, Arthur Lott IV; sister, Mary Schneider (Bob); brother, Keith McCullough; brother-in-law, Steve Winslow (Maggie); and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family. Corina was very loved and will be missed by many.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Salina, followed by a luncheon. A rosary will be recited prior to the service at 9:30. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Salina.
