William Howard “Bill” Burrows, 84, passed away on May 05, 2023 at the Smoky Hill Rehabilitation Center in Salina, KS.

William was born on December 17, 1938 in Yellesville, AR to parents William Albert and Helen Francis (Hudspeth) Burrows.

Bill served in the US Air Force.

Bill started out as a truck driver, then was a meat cutter before moving up to management all for Beverly’s Wholesale Meats. He then, with his wife, purchased Bennington Locker and they owned and operated it from 1973 until retiring in1985.

He enjoyed remodeling houses, gardening and spending time with family.

Bill was preceded in death by Helen Burrows (Mother), William Burrows (Father), William Burrows (Son), Ruth Menees (Sister).

William is survived by Spouse Patsy Arlene Burrows (Green); Children Debbie Porter of Salina, KS, Pam White of Houston, TX; Grandchildren 5, Great-Grandchildren 11

A viewing will be from 3-5 PM on Monday, May 8, 2023 at Roselawn Memorial Heights Chapel. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 in the Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Interment will be in the Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Salina, KS.
