Derry A. Larson, 78, passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023. He was born in Salina to Merlin and Florence (Broman) Larson.

Derry graduated from Salina High School in 1963 and continued his education at Wichita State University earning an Accounting Degree and then becoming a Certified Public Accountant.

Derry founded Larson & Company P.A. in 1981 and has been serving the Wichita community for over 41 years.

Derry was an avid hunter starting as a young boy and continuing throughout his life.  He also had a competitive side that would sometimes show on the tennis court.

He was preceded in death by a nephew, Erik Larson.

Derry is survived by his wife of 58 years, Kay Larson; daughters, Caryn Landreth (Mark), Heidi Brown (Brant), Missy Todd (David); grandchildren, Alexis Landreth, Jadyn Landreth, Gannon Brown, Noah Brown, Lucy Brown, Grace Todd, Emma Todd, Sophie Todd; brother, David Larson (Camille); and niece, Katie Larson (Don).

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, May 22, 2023 at Hillside Christian Church, Wichita.  Burial will be at 1 p.m. in Falun Cemetery, Falun, KS.

In lieu of flowers the family has set up a memorial to the Senior Services Inc. of Wichita, 200 S. Walnut St. Wichita, KS 67213.
