James Charles Mallon, 88, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, August 16th, 2023.

James was born near Smolan, Kansas on January 4, 1935, a son of the late Minnie (Kelley) Nelson and Laurance Mallon.

In 1958, Jim married Marlene Wilcox in Fairmont, West Virginia.

He worked at the Post Office and retired at age 55.

Survivors include his wife, Marlene; son, Todd Mallon, of Salina; daughter, Syn Dee Wulf (Jeff), of Guide Rock, Nebraska; 3 grandsons, Dusty, Jesse, Brody; great grandchildren, Ace, Sequoia, Paisley, Brynley, Clancey; and brother-in-law, John Wilcox.

Visitation will be held 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Monday, August 21st at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, August 22nd at the Church of Christ in Salina, Kansas with Evangelists Russell Crawford, Jimmie Keas, and Doug Hamilton officiating.

Burial will be at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, August 22nd at Franklin Cemetery, Tescott.

Memorials may be made to the Church of Christ, in care of the funeral home.
