Marvin LeRoy Cain, 85, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023. He was born November 12, 1938, in Peabody, Kansas, to George and Ruby (Knust) Cain.
Marvin was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. He loved spending time with his family. He was an industrial arts instructor at Bennington High School for seven years and then served as the high school principal for the next 30 years before his retirement.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Janice (Swanson) Cain; children, Vicki Cain and Brad Cain (Ericka); grandchildren, Kayla, Ryan and Anna Pearson, Emma Fowles (Jobe) and Jack Cain; sisters, Shirley Hutton and Patricia Bethel.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Glen Cain.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, December 8, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina, with a vigil service at 7. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, December 9 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Salina.
