Clarence  “Jabo” Richardson, 75, died December 18, 2023, at his home in Salina. He was born March 11, 1948, in Flora, Mississippi, the son of parents C.J. and I.V. (Outland) Richardson.

Clarence had worked as an assembler for 27 years at Exide Battery, Salina.

He is survived by his sons; Marquis, Londale, Anthony, Skyler, and Adrian Richardson; his daughter, Shannon Richardson and his special friend, Linda Pfaff. His brothers are Jimmie, C.J. “Jr”, and Joseph.  His sisters are Aroutha Martin, Foresteen Brown, Patricia Carroll,  Mae Rae Mitchell, and Lula Horton. He has 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon pm Friday December 22, 2023 at the St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church, Salina. Burial will be in the Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina. Friends may call at the Ryan Mortuary for a visitation on Thursday evening from 4 until 8 pm and where the family will receive friends from  4 until 6 pm.
