John Munson, Jr., was born June 2, 1943 in Salina, Kansas. The son of John and Evelyn Munson and departed this life on Monday, March 18, 2024.

John is survived by his wife, Jody Munson of Tescott; son, Mike and Cerci Munson of Salina; stepsons, Casey and Shannon Caughron of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Corey and Jill Caughron of Haslet, Texas; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

John was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Cheryl Swaim; son, Jeffrey Munson; and daughter, Shelly Munson.

John thanks everyone who shared his life with him in good times and encouraged him throughout the more difficult times.

Honoring John’s wishes, he was cremated and did not want any services.
