The Saline County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after thieves remove a number of gates and posts from a field.

Owners of a property in the 900 block of N. Tressin Road contacted authorities after realizing someone had stolen twelve 6-foot T-posts, ten security gates and two metal panels from a field northwest of Salina.

Deputies say the crime occurred sometime between June 3rd and June 19th.

Total loss is listed at $2,800.
