Dozens of pets are seized from a Reno County home.

Deputies responded to a check animal welfare call at a Nickerson home last Thursday and found dogs, cats and other animals in the house.

A search warrant was issued, and 49 pets were removed from the home the next day.

Officials say some of the animals are microchipped, and owners are being contacted.
