Joseph Blake Schaulis, age 65, passed away peacefully on Sunday June 2nd, 2024, in Salina, Kansas.  Blake was born in West Point, Nebraska, to Nancy and William Schaulis on August 26, 1958.

He graduated from Wisner/Pilger High School in 1976 then worked in the tire industry in Wisner, NE, Colorado Springs, CO, and Salina until his retirement in 2010.  In addition, he enjoyed being CEO of Schaulco Farms for his family.  He was happiest working on the farm alongside his dog.

Blake was preceded in death by an infant brother, Mother, Father, Grandparents, Aunt, Uncle and Jeanie Marie.

He is survived by brothers Brian (Jennifer) Schaulis, Mason Schaulis (Leigha Kern), sister Susan (Clint) Cox, cousins and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and visitors Thursday June 6th at Minnick Funeral Home in Wisner, Nebraska, from 4-7 pm.  The inurnment will be at Madura Cemetery, Wakefield, Kansas, on Friday, June 7th at 4 pm.  Memorials may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation in Blake’s name.
