Kansas lawmakers are announcing an agreement on a tax relief package.

Senate President Ty Masterson and House Speaker Dan Hawkins released a statement last night that confirmed an agreement with Governor Laura Kelly.

The relief package implements a two-bracket tax code, includes multiple exemptions and cuts the tax on social security.

Lawmakers are expected to return to Topeka on June 18th for a special session.
