A missing child is found dead in Butler County.

Deputies were called to the 12-thousand-block of Southwest Prairie Creek Road on Saturday evening after a three-year-old boy wandered off and disappeared.

The child was found dead yesterday morning in a waterway not far from where they had disappeared.

Initial reports indicate that the boy accidentally drowned.
