Dennis Willard Scoville, 78, of Salina, Kan., passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2024. He was born on June 22, 1946, in Salina, to Charles and Patricia (Nelson) Scoville.

Dennis was raised in Smolan, Kan., and graduated from Lindsborg High School in 1964. He married Pamela Albert on August 1, 1970, in Salina, and that same year started his career with the Salina Fire Department, retiring in 2001 as a firefighter engineer. Dennis also was an owner/operator of D&P Auto Repair in Salina for many years. In his spare time, he was a hobby pilot and an avid car enthusiast and loved outdoor sports and hunting.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Pamela; children, Chad Scoville (Melissa) and Jami Augustine (Jason); grandchildren, Colston, Porter, Rogan, and Maclaren Scoville, and Drake and Cali Augustine; sisters, Donna Smith and Patty Basgall (Dave); and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Duane Scoville; and niece, Jennifer Bartunek.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 5, 2024, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina, with burial at the Smolan Cemetery, Smolan. A reception will directly follow at the Öl Stuga, 119 S Main St, Lindsborg, Kan.
