A man is dead following a helicopter crash in Sedgwick County.

Authorities say the victim was flying his home-built helicopter when it crashed in the 57-hundred-block of North 255th Street South near Andale on Friday.

The pilot died at the scene, and the FAA and NTSB are investigating the crash.
