Water levels at Cheney Lake are continuing to fall.

City of Wichita officials say the lake is expected to drop to about 55-percent of the conservation pool next month. The lake is more than seven-point-eight feet below normal.

The city of Wichita moved to Stage Two of its drought response plan in August as a result of the falling lake levels.
