The city of Wichita is facing continued water restrictions.

City officials say that Stage Two of the drought response plan remains in effect as water levels at Cheney Reservoir continue to fall.

The lake is less than 59-percent full, and Stage Three of the drought response plan will be considered if the lake’s 12-month water capacity average falls below 50 percent.
