First Fall Freeze Possible

The first frost of the fall is possible this week, late Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning.

According to the National Weather Service, some locations in Central Kansas could  experience the season’s first frost or freeze. Temperatures as cold as 29 degrees are forecast.

A Freeze Watch has been issued for Wednesday morning across portions of central Kansas.

Make preparations for the first freeze of the season. Be sure to cover or bring inside any sensitive vegetation.
