Danny Lee Copeland, 57, of Salina, Kansas, passed away on October 16th , 2024. Born on February 15, 1967, Danny was known for his vibrant personality and exceptional sense of humor. Throughout his life he was always ready to share a laugh and bring a smile to everyone’s face. A beloved family man and friend, his caring nature touched many lives.
Danny graduated from Salina Central High School and spent his career in various roles that showcased his diverse skills and interests. He worked at Raytheon, served as a semi-driver, and was also employed with the Kansas Department of Transportation. His professional life mirrored his dedication and hard work, traits that were deeply appreciated by all who worked alongside him.
Beyond his work, Danny was passionate about wrestling, race car driving, fishing, garage selling and bargain hunting. He cherished socializing with old friends, reminiscing about the good times, and spending precious moments with his wife, children, and grandchildren. His hobbies weren’t just pastimes; they were ways he connected with those around him, creating lasting memories and strong bonds.
Danny is survived by his loving wife, Christina; daughter, Chelsey (Adam) Eberwein; sons, Chase Copeland, Curtis (Mindi) Mar, Aaron (Ariana) Mar, Michael (Megan) Mar, and Ryan Copeland; mother, Annette Cianciolo; father, Perry (Kathy) Copeland; brother, Shawn (Shan) Copeland; good friend, Kee Mar; and grandchildren, Tyson, Quinn, Maverick, Paisley, Raine, Axel, Scarlett, and Knoxx. He also leaves behind many other beloved friends and family members. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Larry Cianciolo, and his grandparents.
Visitation will be held at Ryan Mortuary Sunday October 20th from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm, with a service To follow Monday October 21st at 11:30 am at Emmanuel Four Square Church. Details regarding his final resting place will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to support his wife Christina Mar Copeland and children, honoring Danny’s enduring love and commitment to his family.
