The death of a Kansas prison inmate is under investigation.

Twenty-six-year-old Kevyn Lopez was found unresponsive in his cell at the Hutchinson Correctional Facility yesterday morning and he was later pronounced dead.

Lopez was serving a nearly eight-year sentence for voluntary manslaughter out of Wyandotte County.
