Steven Joel Thompson, 63, of Salina, Kansas, passed away on December 23, 2024, at his home.

Steven was born to Gerald and Patricia Thompson on November 25, 1961. He enjoyed spending time with his animals and loved being outdoors, particularly at Kanopolis Lake. Steven also found joy in playing darts and bowling. Known for his stubbornness, he could be difficult at times, but deep down, he was a good person who embraced life and lived it to the fullest.

Steven worked for many years in construction, using his skills as a jack-of-all-trades.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Thompson, and father, Gerald Thompson. Steven is survived by his daughter, Kuta Thompson, and her spouse, Joshua Caswell; his son, Jacob Thompson; and his siblings: Chester Thompson and wife  Cheril, Darrell Thompson and wife Stacy, and Lisa Suchy and husband John.

A private service will be held at a later date.
