Kansas lawmakers are considering legislation expanding the definition of child pornography.

The measure would expand what is considered child pornography to include content that’s digitally altered to look like a specific child.

The bill also includes content made entirely by AI to represent a specific minor.

The measure was passed by the Senate Judiciary Committee.
