A Salina man’s car is damaged by vandals.
According to Lt. Scott Siemsen, on Friday, 52-year-old James Muck returned to his home in the 300 block of W. Claflin, and found his 1990 Chevy Cavalier badly damaged and his car battery stolen.
Police say sometime between July 2nd and July 5th, someone smashed the windshield on the vehicle and removed the hood, bending it.
Both headlights were removed and broken, both side mirrors were removed and broken. Officers also say the grill was removed and the passenger door was damaged.
The report shows that only 1 lug nut was left on each tire as well.
Total loss and damage is listed at $960.
