A Salina man is arrested for allegedly beating a preteen girl with a belt on Saturday afternoon.

Police were contacted by the hospital where the girl was being treated for the bruising and after interviewing the victim, arrested T-Vine Austin, 25, of west Salina. The two were acquainted.
