What better way to increase your chances at winning the lottery than to steal $2,408 worth of scratch tickets?
According to Salina Police, Casey’s general store, located at 725 W Schilling Rd, has been “losing the lottery” and a big chunk of change over the last couple month’s. Store employee, Gloria Matiana, is currently in police custody for the alleged theft of her store’s lottery tickets occurring between the month’s of March and May.
Employee’s at the general store first found out that they were short on tickets on June 25. Now in July, Matiana will be facing one count of felony theft and 14 counts of unlawful use of computers.
