Officers arrested 32-year-old Benjamin W. Tiller of Salina on Thursday after locating him on an arrest warrant for shoplifting in August. Police say Wayne allegedly stole a hand held digital scanner from Radio Shack, 1103 W. Crawford on August 18th. Value of the iScanner is listed at $542.

Police are investigating a residential burglary in the 700 block of North 2nd Street sometime between October 6th and the 8th. Police say Xbox and PlayStation game systems were stolen from an unlocked shed on the property. A lawn mower and stereo equipment were also taken. Total loss is estimated at $4,718.
