An Ellsworth man landed himself in Saline County Jail after allegedly breaking into an auto body shop in Salina.

Police say that Albert Whitaker, 35, was found inside a vehicle, inside Calvin’s Customs at 425 North Santa Fe.Whitaker is a convicted felon, and possessed a rifle which was recovered in the vehicle.

Whitaker could face charges that include criminal trespassing, interference with a law enforcement officer and criminal possession of a weapon by a felon.
