A scammer has targeted a Salina convenience store. Police say that Casey’s at 500 North Ohio is victim to a scam.
A person claiming to be tech support called an employee at the store, there and insisted that their system was down. To fix the problem, the employee was told that a money transfer was needed to Amazon Green.Cards. Ultimately, six different transactions were made.
Total loss is estimated at $2,979.
