A reported case of forgery and counterfeiting hit two different businesses in Salina.

Walmart found a counterfeit $10 bill in one of their cash drawers yesterday and immediately reported to the Salina Police Department.

Moneyzone Inc., located at 1819 South Broadway, cashed a check on December 31 to a woman with a check from Eurocars Inc. out of Gladstone, Oregon. It was reported fraudulent yesterday, and was reported to police.
