Two young children were found a couple of hours after an Amber Alert was issued Wednesday morning, but the suspect was still at large.

An Amber Alert was issued for a set of sisters from Wichita. Lilly and Layla Hatcher, 2 and 5-years-old respectively, were reported missing at 9:27AM today.

The suspected kidnapper, David Hatcher, 24 of Wichita, was believed to be armed with a handgun. .

The children were last seen at the Days Inn Hotel on East Kellogg in Wichita, and were taken by force.

Police announced at around 11:30 that the girls were safely recovered, but that Hatcher was still at large.
