A Salina woman has been arrested for alleged embezzlement.

Police say that 20-year-old Katlyn Nimmo was arrested Tuesday. She is accused of stealing money from Bills Truck & Auto at 615 Bishop while employed by the business.

Nimmo is accused of writing seven checks to herself from the company’s account. The checks were written between November 30th and January 11th.

Total loss is $1,389.75.

Nimmo could face charges that include seven counts of forgery and seven counts of theft.
