A woman from Goodland was hurt in a single vehicle crash near Salina Monday afternoon.
Saline County Undersheriff Roger Soldan says that 19-year-old Shaina Varney was driving a a 1993 GMC Sierra pickup truck, headed north on Interstate 135. She lost control of her truck as she was exiting to head west on Interstate 70.
The truck crashed into a sign.
Varney, who was buckled up, was transported to Saline Regional Health Center to be checked out for head and neck pain.
Soldan says that a combination of speed, and the elements, were factors in the crash.
