A police pursuit ends with a single car crash and a DUI arrest.

Sunday morning around 4:20am, officers were called to the 900 block of W. Ash after neighbors reported suspicious behavior and the sounds of someone pounding on a door.

As police approached the area a woman in a 2005 Chevy Malibu sped past and would not pull over.

A short pursuit, which reached speeds up to 60-mph ended when 20-year-old Audrey A. Kinkelaar lost control of her vehicle at the corner of 9th and Prescott, hitting a tree and stop sign.

She is now facing charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and flee and elude.
