As the Wednesday noon deadline to run for office approached, two former Saline County Commissioners filed to run as did a current incumbent.
Randy Duncan and Mike White both filed to run for Saline County Commission District 5. Duncan defeated White when he previously was elected as a county commissioner. At the time, White was a 16 year incumbent. Duncan would serve 8 years before being defeated. Current incumbent commissioner Dave Smith had previously filed to run.
Also Wednesday morning, among other filings Saline County Commission District 2 incumbent commissioner Jim Gile filed to run for reelection.
