Police make an arrest in a Salina rape case investigation.

Officers arrested 33-year-old Nicholas S. Fischer of Salina on Monday after a 26-year-old female victim contacted police on Sunday night.

Police say the victim and suspect are acquaintances and the crime took place in a central Salina home on Sunday night around 11pm.

Authorities are seeking charges of rape and aggravated criminal sodomy against Fischer.
