On the night of Aug. 2, multiple vehicles were damaged by extensive scratching.

It was reported to police that 16 vehicles sitting on the side of the road on South 8 and on Highland were all damaged on their driver’s side, the side of the car facing the street.

The damage done to the cars was estimated at a total of $30,000. The scratches on the cars range in length from 2.5 to 11 feet.

There have been no arrests made.
