The Saline County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a suspected arson case after four hay bales were ignited Wednesday morning.

Deputies say there were tire tracks leading up to the four round bales that were set on fire in a field in the 9600 block of E. Coronado Heights Road.

Investigators say footprints were also found around the bales.

Rural Fire District #1 responded to the blaze at about 7:44am.

Loss is listed at $200.
