A Salina man is jailed on charges of sexual contact with a child under the age of 10.

Police Captain Bill Cox tells KSAL News that 49-year-old Rictor J. Bowman was taken into custody on Wednesday in connection to the rape of a child in a central Salina home on March 6.

Captain Cox says officers followed up on a report of the crime and made the arrest Wednesday afternoon.
