An alcohol related crash sent a Salina woman to the hospital on Sunday.
Police arrested 31-year-old Cory Newell of Salina on charges of D.U.I. after a three car accident in the 1100 block of W. Crawford.
Police say Newell was driving his 2013 Chevy Silverado westbound on W. Crawford and rear ended a 1992 Cadillac Seville driven by 55-year-old Lilly Madison.
Madison was transported by EMS to Salina Regional Health Center to be checked out for pain in her neck and left arm.
A third vehicle was also struck in the chain reaction.
Police report 16-year-old Carson Ochoa was not hurt when Madison’s car collided with his 1986 Ford pickup.
Newell is also facing charges for interfering with a law enforcement officer.
The accident occurred Sunday at 9:45am at the intersection of West Crawford and Plaza Drive.
